Following The Nerd - Space Chief May 5, 2016

As a long time TWD fan, I must say I'm really enjoying The Whisperers/Negan arc after a long, even for me, festival planning that seemed to drag on forever. Read Full Review

    Comicsverse - Dennis Mui May 4, 2016

The next issue should reveal more about Negan's plans. Will he join the Whisperers and don the walker mask? Is he planning on being a mole for Rick? Does he want to save or destroy Alexandria? Maybe Negan wants to take over Alexandria and become a leader again? The answer is up in the air at this point, but the story is set up to both entertain and shock us. We'll just have to wait until next month. Read Full Review

Good Kind Of Geek - Nikki Yuan May 5, 2016

Overall this is a great issue that picks the current storyline to steam. Things are not going to be the same anymore, and I can't wait to find out what kind of danger Negan and Alpha are going to bring to our survivors. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen May 4, 2016

The Walking Dead continues to heat up as Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard dive deeper into the series' new status quo. This issue boasts plenty of strong character work, but especially where it concerns the maniacal Negan and the newest addition to the villain lineup, Beta. This chapter makes it clear that things are going to get much, much worse before there's any hope of a light at the end of this latest tunnel. Read Full Review

    GWW - Sarah Payne-mills May 9, 2016

I'm super excited that Negan met Alpha and can't wait to see where the story goes. Negan's one-liners throughout are particularly entertaining, and I hope we continue to see more of them in the issues to come. With Eugene's mystery person finally revealing herself, it'll be interesting to see how that story evolves. Will she be the next big bad? Read Full Review

    ComicWow!TV - Bhavna Bakshi May 11, 2016

Negan is definitely going to be the main focus of The Walking Dead at this point, especially since he claims he is in love with the Alpha. It’s probably just a joke, seeing as it’s Negan, but the two of them on the same team could get really dangerous—and I can’t wait to see what they’re capable of. This is definitely an issue you can’t skip. Read Full Review

Flickering Myth - Zeb Larson May 6, 2016

In any event, I'm hoping for the latter. Notwithstanding Michonne's dust-up with the Whisperers, what happens here is a little lifeless (though I'm entertained to think that Eugene might be engaging in the zombie wasteland's first long-distance relationship). We're getting close to the end of the arc. Something's going to go down. Read Full Review
