    With Rick still refusing to let his guard down and trust Douglas and his followers, Kirkman escalates the tension in an unexpected way, with an unexpected character as the catalyst. Like so many issues of this series, the book's last page is its best, but there are still plenty of great moments along the way to make the issue a complete, satisfying read from start to finish. Another winner from one of the most consistently engrossing and entertaining books on the stands. Read Full Review

    In some ways this issue makes me think any confrontation between Rick and community won't be a gun fight. However, I do think this issue points to an exile brewing, but one that will turn to some level of violence. I'm pleased with the build up and this issue's approach to showing the current state of so many characters. This is a very good issue. Read Full Review

    If youd asked me a few issues ago about this series, Id likely have shrugged and said it was in one of its rough patches in between conflicts. It was definitely building up to something, but at times it felt a little aimless. With this latest issue, however, hes turning this into perhaps one of his best storylines yet, especially when collected together and the structure can benefit from not being serialized.
