    What I pull most from this book is the lesson that we shouldnt let circumstances prevent us from doing what we love. Many people who give up on their passion will say, Life happened, as if it was out of their control. For Cardy life certainly did happen but he didnt use it as an excuse to stop being an artist. Think of this the next time you think you dont have the time to do what you like. Read Full Review

    In addition to the reproduction of the sketchbook, there is also an interview with the artist as well as a photo section and Post V-E Day section of paintings and photos. This is a fantastic book that has been lovingly put together and should find a happy place on any artist or history buffs bookshelf. Read Full Review
