    Comics: The Gathering - kanchilr1 Jan 8, 2014

This anthology book is great for those who are looking to take a peek into Loki’s treachery, Kamala Khan’s debut, and the Silver Surfer’s new friend. There is a lot to offer fans of Marvel contained in the title. Read Full Review

It's a little weird that this issue has no connective threads or build-up to Orginal Sin, especially considering that the first Point One issue teased Original Sin over two years ago. But that aside, this issue is well worth the price of admission, and serves as a strong showcase for Marvel's 2014 lineup. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Zach Wilkerson Jan 10, 2014

After reading this issue, it's hard not to be excited about at least half of the stories contained within. While the traditional “Point” numbering is irksome and confusing, these one shots are a terrific sampler, allowing readers to test out a number of books at a relatively low price. While Marvel may be on the verge of running out of adjectives to describe its publishing initiatives, the company clearly has plenty of stories and talent up its sleeves. Read Full Review

Overall, this book did it's job for me. It was supposed to get the reader hyped to check out the new All-New Marvel NOW titles and I'd say that it was a success in my case. It might put some people off because of the $5.99 price tag, but I'd say that it's worth checking out. Read Full Review

It certainly doesn't stand alone as a story or anything like that, but if some quick hits are what you're into, Point One will provide a nice little variety pack, and will hopefully turn you on to some books with a lot of potential. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Marykate Jasper Jan 10, 2014

The real downside to All-New Marvel NOW! Point One #1 is price. If you only want a head start on one or two of these series, you still have to pay for all the others. $5.99 is pah-retty steep for 8 pages, even if they were the best 8 pages you read all year. Especially since some have the potential to repeat in Issue #1, figure out how much it's worth to you before taking a look (or wait for it to go on sale.) Read Full Review

So that's All-New Marvel Now! Point One in a nutshell " a nice little sampler that will save you some time and money later on in the year when things really get cooking. Sure, you could expect more, but that probably means there's no pleasing you anyway. Read Full Review

Chuck's Comic Of The Day - Chuck Jan 12, 2014

There are some nice snippets to see - the Loki part of the story is probably the best, but the whole thing really doesn't add up to a whole comic, much less one that costs double a single issue. I'd advise holding off until the individual issues show up. Read Full Review

If you want a look at what many of your All-New Marvel NOW! titles will have in store, then you should check this out. There are some comics not featured (New Warriors, All-New X-Factor, etc.) so there is still much to look forward to over the next few months. Read Full Review
