    BND fans should find enjoyment in this issue, even if the bulk of the backup material doesn't compare to the main story. On the whole, the Spidey Brain Trust were able to see the hero out in style. This issue sets the stage in some small way for the next era of Spider-Man. Luckily, unlike last time, the character begins his new life in good, solid shape. Read Full Review

    Even with my qualms about the new developments in Spidey's love life, I still think that the changes made to his supporting cast and the new directions they've been taken into are all quite sensible. Whether it's JJJ becoming Mayor, Aunt May marrying JJJ Sr. or even Harry Osborn going off on his way, it's all a lot more interesting than that status quo I've been used to for years.     Amazing Spider-Man #647 was a fun read. Even with two stories that were complete duds this was still a well written issue that help not only end Brand New Day but start some interesting plotlines for Big Time. I am definitely looking forward to Big Time, especially with even more old school Spider-Man villains like Hobgobling coming back. Read Full Review
