    After a serviceable, but ultimately disappointing romp last week, Amazing SpiderMan is back with a solid issue this week. Joe Kelly's character work is a lot of fun and the art team puts in a solid effort. There are some nagging issues with the craft and plot at times, but this issue certainly redeems the rest of the arc. Plus, there is a surprise appearance in the end by my favorite new postOne More Day SpiderMan villain, which always helps. Read Full Review

    Amazing Spider-Man #607 was another entertaining issue. Joe Kelly is a perfect fit for Amazing Spider-Man as he does a great job writing Peter and his supporting cast. If you haven't tried these past few issues of Amazing Spider-Man I highly recommend getting these issues in trade format, starting with "American Son," as this series has really been on a role the past few months.     A completely forgettable comic that is the poster boy of why I've been having trouble getting into the Brand New Day era of comics. Was hoping it would follow the lead of the enjoyable RedHeaded Stranger arc and focus on new stories and growth of the characters. Instead, it's a regression to the past. Read Full Review
