FEAR ITSELF TIE-IN! It won't take some of the Avengers to fight the madness of fear itself it will take ALL OF THEM!! It's an Avengers reunion in the ruined streets of New York as Avengers old and new gather to fight the fight no single hero could possibly withstand. And finally, who on the Avengers will fall in love...for the very first time?! What? We can't believe it either!

Come to think of it, the same is true for almost every "hero fights the Hulk" story. Go figure. Read Full Review

For a Fear Itself tie-in, this isn't that bad of an issue. It managed to make some of the Avengers' background members look like champs, and really, that's a sign of good writing. However, I can't help thinking that some of those interview pages could've been used for something a bit more constructive: more action, more character development... more anything! Read Full Review

Crave Online - Iann Robinson Jul 22, 2011

Chris Bachalo's art doesn't do much to save the situation. The documentary film stuff looks way too much like Bachalo attempting to do John Romita Jr. (the earlier Avengers artist) and the battle work with the Hulk is way too muddled to be effective. I was confused why Bachalo's Hulk looked, for lack of a better term, goofy. The Hulk looked like a bad cross between the Maxx and Evil Ernie, which just didn't work at all. Avengers #15 isn't a bad issue, it just isn't what should be. Something that's plagued the entire Fear Itself story arc thus far. Read Full Review

In the end, nice and sweet story falls short compared to much deeper issues in this series. Read Full Review

A bunch of poorly timed, poorly executed, and poorly reasoned Spider-Woman love. Read Full Review

The only reason this issue is a 9.5 instead of a 10 is because it’s a Far Itself tie in and Fear Itself sucks. The art and story are beautiful and the Spider Woman Hawkeye romance is growing on me now that it isn’t so forced

This is a fantastic issue: much better than the first two story arcs. The Fear Itself Tie-in's for Bendis' Avengers have been phenomenal.

I find myself stumped as to how people can find anything negative to say about these last few issues. One review made a negative comment about Chris Bachalo's art..... okay.... talk about a fast way to lose credibility with, well, pretty much every intelligent comic reader on the planet.

    I don't give out 10's, so this 9 is more like a 9.3
