Captain America #31 was truly a work of art. I don't know what else I can say about this issue. It was stunning. Brubaker continues to utterly amaze me with his wonderfully dense, complex and emotional reads that he manages to deliver each and every month. Read Full Review

Now that we've seen Brubaker is able to maintain a consistent quality over the long run and without the series' main character, there is absolutely no reason not to be reading this book. Do it for Cap, if not for yourself. Read Full Review

There's pretty much nothing wrong with this title. It's been consistent for three years now and it seems like creative team has the formula down. It doesn't matter whether you're a fan of Captain America or not, this should be in your stack. Read Full Review

This issue doesnt go very far in terms of plot development, but it is still a well told story. While we know a new Captain America is coming, this series continues to maintain the same level of suspense, drama and intensity that has propelled it to Marvels highest level. Yes, I miss Steve Rogers but if I wasnt reading this title, Id be missing one of the best long-running storylines in the past two or three decades. As long as Brubaker keeps delivering and makes this story continue to work, it stays at the top of my list. Read Full Review
