He's annoying. He's dangerous. He smells terrible. But the public love him. That's right-the Merc with the Mouth may make money for missions of murky morality...but he's become the most popular hero in the world for it. Eat that, Spidey! The world belongs to...DEADPOOL. The fan favorite team of Gerry Duggan and Mike Hawthorne return to bring Deadpool in to his most successful adventures yet!

Issue #2 of Deadpool gives us a “reveal” to some of the speculation brought up last issue in the identity of the “real” Deadpool. Duggan is doing a great job so far in creating a story filled with mystery, humor, and action, as Hawthorne is creating solid artwork to accompany it. Now will the real Deadpool please stand up? Deadpool's unprecedented popularity makes for an entertaining new status quo. The problem right now is that the book is too fixated on his "Mercs for Money" team and not nearly enough on Wade or the usual supporting cast from the previous book Read Full Review

This story just doesn't feel like Deadpool at all. He isn't really the main character in this issue because all the fake Deadpool's take up more of the story. Deadpool is almost a pure hero now too as he's a member of the Avengers and he's not all about the money like he used to be. The story is alright I'm just not convinced that its a Deadpool story.
