The problem with House of M: Avengers is that it didnt need to be made. Slap House of M and Avengers on the title and suckers will buy. Suckers like me. So at the end of the 5 weeks, Ive shelled out $15 for a story that barely fit the continuity of an alternate reality story that happened several years ago. There was no room for character development because, for whatever reason, the book had to have every single person not mentioned in the House of M brought in for a guest appearance, including Thunderbirds lame attack squad of the Blob, Avalanche, Feral, and Boom Boom. I know that Thunderbird is cool now because of Brubakers Uncanny X-Men, and people like Luke Cage because of Bendis New Avengers, but it didnt make this book any better. If you dont mind breaking your full run, dont buy. Save yourself! Read Full Review
