Fraction's great plotting and action, coupled with Salvador Larroca's fantastic art, has made this series soar over the past few years. Now, we're rushing headlong into a war between Iron Man and some of his biggest enemies ever. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to what comes next. Read Full Review

Fraction hits his stride in a big way. Action and intrigue coupled with excellent characterization. Stark's decision to board the C130 without argument is believable despite what many might construe untypical of Tony Stark. This is an Ironman using his great intellect and experience to gain the advantage when most opportune. Stark's comment about Disaster Capitalism has to be the best one liner coming from the most notable capitalist in comics. This issue is not to be missed. Read Full Review

With a scene as climactic as the one at the end of this issue, with nearly every notable enemy of the Invincible Iron Man gathered together under the guidance of the Mandarin and Ezekiel Stane, the building blocks that have been carefully lain throughout this series are finally starting to take shape. There may have been some stretches where the wheels seemed more like they were spinning aimlessly rather than building up speed, but as of this issue, Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca look to be firing on all cylinders, leading to what can only wind up being one of the most iconic clashes between Iron Man and the Mandarin of all time. The premise is a long time coming, and hard-earned. I'm hoping that the destination will live up to the ride. Read Full Review

    Comic Vine - Tony 'G-Man' Guerrero Feb 15, 2012

When it rains, it pours. There's a giant poop-storm headed in Iron Man's direction. He's finally becoming aware of how bad things are getting and will hopefully start to sort everything out. Fraction and Larroca continue to tell Iron Man adventures the way only they know how. We get a lot of big action scenes here but are only seeing parts of Mandarin's plan. It's all escalating and Tony better get his act together if he hopes to come out of this in one piece. Read Full Review
