    It says a lot about the comic-reading world that the first issue of Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers has apparently sold so well, and that's definitely a good thing. It goes to show that "all-ages" doesn't necessarily mean "just for kids," and that the words "entertaining" and "gripping" don't always have to mean "dark" and "edgy." We get enough darkness from other comics (not to mention the real world) that there should be more than enough room in our lives for something fun every once in a while, especially when it's as well done as Pet Avengers.     I know I'm not going to change any minds that aren't open to giving Pet Avengers #2 a chance But it is seriously worth giving a chance. It's good, mostly clean (remember that there's poop jokes) fun. Read Full Review

    As a limited-series side trip, "Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers" is just the right concept. I don't think we'd want to see it as an ongoing series, don't get me wrong, but this is enough fun so far that I already wouldn't mind a return to the Pet Avengers team down the line. This is more entertaining than it deserves to be, and in a good way. Read Full Review
