When someone is targeting the lucky for death, it won't take long before the luckiest X-Man, Longshot, is in the killer's sights. But things quickly go from bad to worse as super heroes, villains, all of S.H.I.E.L.D. and even COSMIC ENTITIES have it out for our boy! Is Longshot finally in over his head, or can he beat the odds and save the Marvel Universe when no one else can?
Overall if you loved the first issue of Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe then your gonna love this issue. It will make you want to know what happens next to our lucky hero and from seeing the cover of the next issue, we are in for a treat. Read Full Review
Funny, sarcastic, self-aware, yet full of traditional Marvel-style hero plots, twists and interdimensional/inter-universal travel included. Id like to see what else happens around our dear Longshot and if hell ever get that taco he so craves. "Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe" #2 makes me think that this mini-series is getting rushed out (with a twice-a-month schedule) before retailers and readers have time to stop and digest what's going on here. A new Longshot mini-series isn't a bad idea, but this feels like little more than an attempt to lock in the use-or-lose nature of a trademark. In the end, the only thing that needs saving is this mini-series. Read Full Review
