    After bursting onto the scene with a great debut issue, the creative team behind SpiderGirl follows it up incredibly well with the actionpacked and tragic story that is extremely powerful. Tobin's brilliant character writing is accented nicely by both of the main artists, resulting in an issue that carries the momentum forward from the first issue and earns this title a place on my Pull List.     So why, four bullets and not five? Clayton Henry contributes 14 pages, but a second art team finishes the book and, quite frankly, I would have rather the issue ended on page 14. It's not that the minor leaguers are bad. They're art styles simply do not mesh with Henry's, and the endnote wasn't necessary, nor powerful. These final scenes should have been cut.     The book, itself, has run the full emotional gamut in a mere pair of issues. This issue, while emotionally draining, delivered a story that is believable and intense. I just wish it were happier. With an upbeat first issue and a downer second one, I can't wait to see where "Spider-Girl" goes from here. So far, it's a roller coaster ride " or more like a web-swinging ride " filled with elation and joy countered by sorrow and emptiness. Read Full Review
