Thor comes face to face with the one man who knows him better than anyone else - Dr. Donald Blake, Thor’s human half! What are the implications of this meeting and why are the residents of both Asgardia and Broxton having the same nightmare?

Overall, the art of the book is solid. I've liked Pepe Larraz's work on the issues of Mighty Thor he's done in the past. I'm a little bothered by his overuse of blanking out faces in the distance as it does stick out like a sore thumb, but his design on the Mares is really fun and has a nightmare quality that made them very cool. The last page of the Enchantress is positively, drop dead gorgeous and well worth the wait to see even if the previous panel on the page before reveals what we already knew to be who Blake was talking to. It was the type of last page that actually caught me gasping lightly at the reveal. Read Full Review

If a bit dull when the focus isn't on Blake, this issue still suggests that the series will be getting back on track in the coming months. Read Full Review

The issue is a bit of a resetting for Fraction – he goes back to basics while also teasing us with great potential in the Donald Blake/Enchantress plot. Let's hope that he capitalizes on that potential this time around, as he's not had a great track record for doing that in his tenure on Thor thus far. Read Full Review

The hell?! I'm sorry, but I just can't get over that image of that thing straddling Thor... That's just TOO bizarre! And you KNOW I'll be posting that! Besides the hilariously absurd image you'll see for yourself down below, the story here didn't really do anything for me.. So Thor fights some creatures... Or so we think. The more interesting revelation was Blake wanting to become a god again and turning to the Enchantress, of all people, to help him achieve his goal. Hopefully we get more of that and less of Thor being molested by weird creatures next issue. Read Full Review

An intriguing start to this new storyline that I have a feeling that will be pretty good. Not sure how I feel about the art work though and I wish Donald Blake could just be gone for good because everything involving Blake is boring and confusing
