    The way this story is written, it's completely realized as something you might see on HBO. It's taking its time – moving in baby steps, but each step is a joy to behold. I love these characters to death; they feel so real – so humanized. Sure, there's a few psychos among them, but that just adds to the intrigue. Probably the best mini-series you'll ready this year.     Those are admittedly nitpicky, and it's because The Twelve is a resoundingly great book with very few problems. If nothing else, it's a showcase for Straczynski's writing skills and readers will come away with a great experience. Read Full Review

    So Im going to keep reading, but I dont suggest you start here if you havent been buying this one. Pick up issue four instead, as the ending to issue three suggests that the action the point of the story is finally going to get underway next month, and the last issue blurbs really have told new readers all they need to know to catch up.
