Uncanny X-Men continues to be impressive. There wasnt a bad issue in this first arc and everyone involved should get a ton of credit. Cullen Bunn told a very dark tale that sets the bar for the rest of the series moving forward and the art has been spectacular, making reading and experiencing the series extremely easy. This is a book that should absolutely be in you pull list. Read Full Review

Uncanny X-Men isn't Marvel's most ambitious mutant book but it's fabulously bold, raising the stakes consistently by using characters who aren't afraid to make tough decisions with harsh consequences. It's the rare example of a book not leaning in to the company's status quo, instead using it as a launching pad for story hooks and stylistic departures that wouldn't work as well if tied to a set continuity. It's the first time this book has worked well and it'll be interesting to see if it can maintain the same sense of gritty excitement going into next month's "Apocalypse War" crossover. Uncanny X-Men has the foundation of a solid X-Men comic. The book's real problem at the moment is a lack of forward momentum. Read Full Review

The rest of this book is throw away nonsense. I have lost any and all faith that Uncanny can bounce back from this storyline. I'm walking away from this title until the creative direction has been addressed and I would suggest that the rest of the X-fans out there do the same. Avoid this title at all costs until the creative team has been replaced. Read Full Review
