Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison Jul 12, 2017

If youre in need of a fun diversion from all of this Secret Empire stuff, Venom is a great choice out of Marvels offering. Its not brilliant, but its fun and fast-paced. Oddly enough, the comic about a vicious, murderous man with an alien attached to him is one of the less depressing comics on the stands right now. Give it a try. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen Jul 12, 2017

Venom still has some kinks to iron out, particularly in terms of the visuals, but at this point there's no denying the the series is better off with the return of Eddie Brock and the other changes that status quo shift has brought about. This issue offers plenty of zany fun without losing sight of the core host/symbiote dynamic that's been the series' strongest asset all along. Read Full Review

    Superior Spider-Talk - Eric Wilson Jul 17, 2017

This issue reads like a less-compelling recut of the last. We do get some forward momentum on the symbiote's condition, but the main conflict sticks in a holding pattern. Read Full Review

This series has just been good since #150 was released. These issues are a lot of fun. I don't know anything about moon girl or devil dinosaur, which make an appearance in this one, but it wasn't something that hindered the story. The art is pretty good too. Overall, it's fun and definitely has a lot more going for it than at the beginning of this series.
