This was easily one of the funnier comic books I've read this month... It's just all so ludicrous! Seriously, Wolverine, a talking monkey and a fat guy are wandering around underground tunnels and fighting dragons all so Wolvie could save a kid, avenge his master who was pushed into, what was described as a “bottomless pit”, and get back the money that was stolen from him from back when he was the crime boss of Chinatown in San Fran... Add an insanely over the top villain and her underground poppy fields and you have one hell of a funny comic. It all just works perfectly here. Who knew Jason Aaron was so funny?! Read Full Review

Wolverine is a character that simply covers way too many bases. When dealing with Kung-Fu you could make the case that this is completely pushing the envelope much too much. However, this book works because Aaron knows how to take something absurd and poke fun at it himself as he tells his twist on the story. I am enjoying this arc and I definitely recommend picking this up if you aren't into having your Wolverine all serious all the time. Read Full Review

If Wolverine in Hell and murdering his own children was a bit much to hold on your conscience, you can rest easy knowing that, for at least one arc, Aaron and company are perfectly happy serving up some good old fashioned fun. Read Full Review

Like I said above, this book has a great theatrical flair to it, and though it's labelled as a REGENESIS tie-in, it's got little to do with the main events of the X-Universe. It's a great little romp, with kung-fu, witty dialog, some hair-brained schemes and a menacing villain - definitely worth a buy. Read Full Review
