Despite really enjoying the lead story, I strongly considered bumping this down to a Check It verdict because of the unnecessary backup story. I probably would have if not for the great art in that story by Jamie McKelvie. Jason Aaron is doing some cool things in this issue that have lead to a much stronger than I expected from the premise. When all is said and done, though, the final page of this issue can't help but leave Wolverine fans with a reason to pick this book up, though. Next issue promises a scene we've never witnessed before, and with a character who has been around the block as many times as Logan, that's something to be savoured. Read Full Review

While I feel that there's only so high I can grade a book whose greatest strength, and majority of content, is action sequences, this was a really fun ride in an arc I've had mixed feelings about thus far. Read Full Review

This storyline hasnt quite entertained me and it hasnt quite given me new insight into Wolverines character and measure as a man. So far, its been a very routine and unspectacular story, and thats incredibly disappointing to say about an otherwise solid creative team.
