If they're still available locally (for those of you who don't roll digital) I'd recommend tracking down all of Spurrier's current X-Force run, as this is not the place for new readers jumping on. Indeed, this issue's impact is totally spoiled without reading the run-up to it. Still, Spurrier is rapidly reenforcing his position as Marvel's go-to guy for making mothballed characters shine for a new era. Read Full Review

Of course, I suspect that means next issue we're going to be getting another member's secret. Spurrier has once again given us a great range of character in his writing as well as used his amazing form of trickery. Loving the writing and now that Molina is on board I think visually we have ourselves a well rounded comic. (Can someone send him back in time Terminator style so he's on the book from day 1? Please?) Read Full Review

Cleverly written, good action, long term plans already being laid out. Plus connections to not so well known 80s Marvel property. This is the X book to read folks.

I don't know much about these characters' arcs over the past decade or so. Even so, this book did a fantastic job of getting inside Marrow's insane mind.
