The "X-Necrosha" one-shot earlier this month promised that "X-Men: Legacy" would get drawn into that crossover, but I'm delighted that it wasn't the case this month, and won't be next time either. It's nothing against "Necrosha" but rather that I'm loving what Carey's doing on his own within "X-Men: Legacy." A book focusing primarily on Rogue but utilizing the full X-Men cast? Her own solo series might have failed, but this to me seems like it's a winner. Thoroughly fun from start to finish. Read Full Review
Diehard X-fans should certainly get this. Carey has publicly stated his mission of really developing Rogue and Gambit and a few other, so if youre a fan of any of those characters, you should get the book. If youre an occasional reader and you dont get this issue, I dont get the impression youll be missing out on something that to sends ripples through the X-universe Read Full Review
As excited as I was to get back into reading this series regularly, the dullness of this storyline and the fact that Mike Carey is trying to stretch five pages of story into several issues is killing a lot of the interest I had in the book. Something needs to happenanything, even if it isn't interesting as long as it is something newand needs to happen soon if there is any hope of this book remaining on my pull list. Read Full Review
