    Nevertheless, despite the weaknesses of the plot, this book was a pleasant surprise, if only because I never expected to get this much entertainment out of a fairly simple story about Frank Castle taking some criminals apart in a cold and calculated manner. Maybe I need to check out Ennis' run after all, because if it's as enjoyable as this, I could well start to become a convert to the Punisher after all. Read Full Review

    Interestingly enough, the Punisher takes a secondary role in this book. Sure, he facilitates all the mayhem, but this story is really about the criminals' struggle to survive out at sea. It's obvious that these criminals will die, that's just the Punisher's way, but how they arrive at their demise is what makes this such a well crafted story. Great artwork by Michel Lacomb compliments this story. My only complaint is the $4.99 price tag – ouch. Read Full Review

    I guess if you just can't wait for Ennis' next issue and Matt Fraction's stories aren't enough, then this issue is worth a look. There are just far too many other good Punisher stories available for me to give it much of a recommendation. Read Full Review
