This is the book of the year for me. The story has many facets and delves in so many topics from so many angles that Saif Ahmed has to be commended for his excellent work making them gel well even if some steps seem hurried a bit like the mother-daughter confession. Nothing but praise here and even more so for Fabiana Mascolo who is really good at showing us exactly what we need to see and holds what needs to be imagined. Great art that fits this book and makes all characters look like diverse individuals who actually belong in this story.
