Bloodshot is the creation of Project Rising Spirit, and for years they’ve loaned him out to the U.S. government for the kinds of insane, blood-splattered missions that only a nanite-enhanced commando could possibly survive. But those will be nothing compared to the horrors that await him inside the heavily fortified walls of PRS itself, whose subterranean levels are populated by failed “projects” that kill and maim for fun. And God help anyone who dares pry open the doors to the “nursery”…

If you like action heavy thrillers or things that are generally overflowing with awesome, then BLOODSHOT is the title for you. This issue has an insane amount of gory battles and it's topped off with a great conclusion. There's a lot to look forward to here, especially if you're reading HARBINGER as well. In my opinion, BLOODSHOT has consistently proven to be one of the most entertaining books on the shelves right now. Read Full Review

Geeks Unleashed - Mark Brassington Dec 14, 2012

All in all Duane Swiercynski writes one of the best action comic series on the shelf right now and has managed to build intrigue and character into what could have easily been another guns and girls book. You've also got to admire the artwork of Manuel Garcia who along with colourist Ian Hannin have brought the action to life with some incredibly detailed scenes. Bloodshot took a serious beating this issue with at least fifteen bullets hitting him at once, ripping through his body which was handled beautifully by the art team. Read Full Review

Swiercynski's plotting is typically slow to build, and six issues in, little is known about Bloodshot's original purpose and his past, but if the cliffhanger ending is any indication, the next issue will hit a payload of narrative revelations as the "Harbinger Wars" crossover event approaches.
