    All-Comic - Tyler Goulet Nov 18, 2014

Yes, X-O Manowar earned another perfect score, but believe me when I tell you it earned it. This is not Saga where almost everyone throws a 5-Star rating on it month in and month out and no one is surprised (because, yes, Saga is fucking amazing). This is X-O Manowar; a book that has more than earned your attention and more than deserves it. Its the Valiant crown jewel and it really, truly, deserves to be read by anybody who likes any of the other top books out there, month after month. This is easily a book to rival any other superhero book thats out right now, so if thats your kinda thing pick this up! Read Full Review

X-O Manowar #30 is a very promising start to a new story arc with the intriguing Armorines led by Zahn, and the push in the U.N. to account for all alien technology. The contrast between him and Aric was presented in an entertaining way that immediately gave Zahn a context but his character wasn't simply presented as a caricature. So I'm looking forward to their battle/interaction. And I'm also interested in how the politics will affect the status quo including the secrets still being kept by G.A.T.E.. So I'm on board with this new story arc and can't wait to see how events unfold. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Nov 19, 2014

X-O Manowar #30 is another opportunities to get into what is the centerpiece of the Valiant Universe as our heroes have been established to the world, we have a new villain, and much progress is being made by Capshaw to make sure that politics don't come in the way of her doing the job she needs to do for their protection. Comic Bastards - Carl Boehm Nov 19, 2014

As X-O celebrates its thirtieth issue, I celebrate a comic that has yet to fail me in its execution. Venditti brings so much to this character while always leaving doors open for future conflict that will bring strife to Aric but joy to all the page turners. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Mat 'Inferiorego' Elfring Nov 19, 2014

It's the start to something pretty awesome. It's tough to go from Armor Hunters to Armorines, since Armor Hunters was so epic, but this first issue of the new arc is great. On top of that, it's a great place for new readers to jump on. There is a lot going on in this first issue but it's all paced extremely well and it is never convoluted or overwhelming. This is still Valiant's flagship book and easily one of the best month-to-month reads in super-hero comics. Read Full Review

X-O Manowar #30 isn't without small issues but it is an entertaining read by the end. If you are the least bit curious about X-O Manowar, this is a great starting point. A potentially strong storyline lies within this issue and there's a final page that I won't dare spoil but the next year in Valiant is going to get mighty insane. Yes X-O Manowar is a big one and not just a jumping on point and the start of a new arc, but something bigger that's on the horizon. A solid issue and I look forward to reading more! Geeks Unleashed - Chris Romero Nov 21, 2014

The writer blends witty humor with plot development in only a way that talented writers can. The artwork for X-O #30 is crisp, particularly the showcasing of a wintry rural Nebraska. Zahn's Armorines seem like they'll be a force to be reckoned with, so I'd strongly suggest grabbing yourself a copy of issue #30 this week. Read Full Review

Lots a political development here, but not in a particularly entertaining manner. In fact, I'd say it's even more stale than in the recent Unity issue. We're also introduced to the soon to be arch nemesis of Aric, who's a rather uninteresting eccentric billionaire. Colonel Capshaw has a nice little meal with Aric and his lady, which was kind of nice, but overall this issue fails to administer a healthy dose of character development that is desperately needed to make up for the lack of excitement. I'm getting nervous that Valiant hit its prime before Armor Hunters and it's all going to be downhill from here...
