    While entertaining, this issue just didn’t have the same energy as other Fairest issues. Though with the addition of more problems without even managing to solve current and original problems, there’s still a lot of exciting potential hidden for issues to come. Read Full Review

    Despite its shortcomings, Fairest #17 succeeds where the last comic did not. The big picture hasnt been set yet, and maybe until then, the comic might be a pass. But there is enough intrigue in the story to pull in a memorable end. Hopefully we will remember it for better reasons. Read Full Review

    The plague which first hits one of Charming's concubines and later the Maharaja takes the arc even further from the story of Nalayani's village. The source of the disease and eventual cure might turn out to offer interest insights into both characters, but for now I'm a bit concerned with the shift in direction of this latest arc.
