"The Plague Widow" part 6 of 8. The settlement, driven half into the ground by crushing isolation and starvation, suffers anew in the brutal hands of Gunborg. Hilda, having been spared much of the recent violence, realizes her survival wasn't by chance, and what she is expected to pay in return is unthinkable.
Northanders #26 is one of the more memorable chapters of "The Plague Widow". I am feeling a little fatigued by the eight-issue format, however, and I'm still curious how Wood plans to fill his remaining two chapters. Hopefully he can reach a finish that reaches even higher levels than this. Read Full Review
