Weekly Comic Book Review - Dean Stell Dec 30, 2011

Another really strong issue. This series is succeeding because of itssubtlety. Much like great TV shows like Breaking Bad don't pause to make sure that the audience understands what just happened, Azzarello and Risso are confident that their audience can figure some things out for themselves. My only concern is how “finished” is this story going to feel after only 9 issues?? Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - lucstclair Dec 30, 2011

A very average issue. I hate to say it, but if this series doesnt start to get better by ish #4, Im gonna have to quit it. But then again its only a mini series, decisions, decisions. Written and illustrated by Brian Azzerello and Eduardo Rizzo (100 Bullets) which by the way, anyone will tell you, is a much better title. From Vertigo/DC comics. Suggested for mature readers.
