A secret evil plagues Oz. As its people scramble to fill the lands vacated by the evil witches, little do they realize that a sinister force is moving against them, destroying their villages and cities and making them slaves. Meanwhile, as Dorothy tries to piece together the events that have brought her back to Oz, she meets a new ally that may hold the key to her mysterious powers.
Previously, I've mentioned how problematic the illustrations can be and I don't want to be redundant because that's something I find in all Grimm Fairy Tale comics. Despite that though, I do think that the illustrations bring out the whimsical and dark world of Oz alive. I think it would be difficult to illustrate a world that doesn't really exist, so I love how well it captures this magical place. Read Full Review
