An impressive series, cut short as a series, but now appearing as a graphic novel. On the negative side, we had a foolish and very unsympathetic heroine but on the plus side, we had some of the best comic artwork I've seen in decades.
The plot was unhurried and generally well researched, though the modern craze of women dressing as men would have ended with a trip to the bonfire in the Elizabethan age. If you are going to try for an authentic and historically accurate plot, modern day political correctness and feminism ought to be left out.
Nevertheless, I would like to see more from Mr Fell.
