This and issue before this should be one story. It's not a bad story, but I would prefer to be served in one Giant Size, like ,,Superman Secret Origin II". But the artwork is nice, and tries to emulate many artists from Superman History. Problem with the story is that they refference the stories from the 80's and ownards, but they do not specify how the story progressed. One example, in one pannel more

This book was good. There's a lot in here to digest and a lot of the plot holes have been explained well. This issue shows how Spencer had this all planned out. Art can be better but I ignored the was art because I was so into the story and I didn't want to miss anything. The material is dense and this book is high on dialogue but good dialogue.

Pretty average set up. I'm interested in a return to status quo with Brock so that added points. Spider-man was drawn awfully but the rest was okay. And the tease for next month anniversary looks awesome.

No. It doesn't look awesome. It looks horrible. Eddie Brock has changed since 2004. He would rather destroy the symbiote, than to go anywhere near it. And Venom itself, goes into rage without a real reason! SCREW MAKE MINE MARVEL IF ITS A PRELUDE TO IT!!!!

Okay, the fact that Sam is quitting being Captain America is *slightly* undermined by the fact that we know the book is continuing. But that aside, his decision is extremely well written and a logical follow on from the events of the past six months. This is one of the strongest books on the market and I'll be rereading the entire series as a whole again in the future.

At first the issue seems to be playing on a nostalgia factor with a cover replicating Captain America and Falcon 176, but there is a reason behind the homage. Steve Rodgers quit and became Nomad briefly after feeling he could not stand behind a corrupt country. Now Sam Wilson feels he too cannot wear the title after seeing the injustice that happened to Rage. The story both recaps events and gives more

Have to say, this is definitely my book of the week. It's incredibly strong from start to finish, with a comforting/hopeful beginning, a wonderful bunch of interactions with Batman and Robin, and a hook at the end that confirms that the earlier foreshadowing *was* leading up to something. Definitely don't want to miss this one!
