While it's obviously great to have Peter back, and this issue is plenty of fun, at times it feels like it's "trying too hard" to emphasize just how Peter Parker this Spider-Man is... the comedy comes off as forced, to the point that it's overdone.
The back-up stories are pretty hit-and-miss; their inclusion isn't worth the $2 price hike.

A fantastic issue that brings the concept full-circle, celebrating what's great about Spidey while allowing great character growth for SpOck. Some iffy, inconsistent art brings this down a notch.
