Gut punch, Headshot, swift kick to the jewels, this issue has left my entire emotional spectrum bruised in the best way possible in the matters of storytelling. The worst part is knowing I have to wait an entire month before the next issue.

Pain is weakness leaving the body... Pain is weakness leaving the body... Pain is weakness leaving the body... ...but dear god there is so much of it in my heart right now! I need to go read some Miles Morales: Spider-Man and The Magnificent Ms. Marvel as a method of pain medication.

Some absolutely hilarious moments sprinkled with some wholesome & chaotic team bonding. Also YES to more Psycrow.

As a life long fan of, "Farris Beuller's Day Off" this one-off homage did not disappoint and in fact exceeded my expectations. Only four issues in this new series and so far I can't see Saladin or Javier doing Miles wrong in any way, shape or form. No doubt I'm with them for the long haul.

No joke, this issue will keep you on edge as a chill skitters its way up and down you're spine. I NEED to see where this goes, next issue can't get here soon enough!

In truth this is more of an 8.7 for me because of how much I loved the back and forth banter between Miles and his Uncle and just how much of a great team-up they make. Just wished this book had a higher page count so we could of had more of it. Still Ahmed & Garron continue to kill it on this book and I always look forward to seeing more artists get their go at drawing Miles. And of course that final page struck me right in the heart. Indeed I "DUG IT"!

Didn’t expect a cool down issue to include some spicy side drama in the making but I’m certainly looking forward to seeing where this is going.

Good to have Carnero back on art duty. Been waiting for a proper crossover for Miles and Kamala and this did not disappoint. Now begins the wait for part two next month.

Saladin and Carmen are both in their top form for this saga. And I'm all for more Spider-Bro moments between Peter and Miles.

This issue is another banger that shows why Saladin Ahmed is the perfect writer to grow and develop Miles’ own personal mytho’s as Spider-Man.

A good closing chapter for Miles' Clone Saga arc and yes that new suit has grown on me. Also wouldn't mind if Christopher Allen stays on as secondary artist when rotating between him and Carmen Carnero.

HOLY $@$#% this is how you do a first issue right!

Glad I guessed right about the key reason Rabble has it out for Miles but her origin story is still a gut punch to the feels and succeeds with having me related to, and even sympathize with her. Yet the writing is smart enough to make sure she's being called out on how she's taking this way too far. So far the writing and art is keeping the early hot streak of this run going, with signs of it about to ramp up. And Misty Knight is an absolute delight!

Not bad as far as an issue being part of a continuing event goes. Lots of good action and killer art. And it's always fun to see how Miles interacts with others when put on a team. I will say that I'm looking forward to getting back to the more personal story arcs for the series where, so far, Ziglar's done his best work on Miles and his supporting cast. This issue isn't exactly a "too many cooks in the kitchen" sort of deal with the overall event and multiple writers handling it. But having this crossover event go down so early into Mie's new run does make me wish they put this on hold for a bit until there were a few more personal arcs penned by Ziglar's hand.

Nice Halloween special arc and Ziglar continues to evolve Miles' power set in a very organic way.

If there were ever a true test of a characters mettle when faced with a impossible moral choice and their back's up against a wall this issue shows off Shang-Chi's in SPADES.

Strong Bromance for the win!

I'm calling it, Miles x Tomoe, she will become the "Black Cat" to his "Spider-Man".
