I, for one, am tired of Tom King's run on Batman. I didn't care for the Bane arc and I am just bored by this one. Batman is a hero. Yes, he makes mistakes, but he deserves a heroic arc. Not wearing a super-powered foe out by getting beat to a pulp several times and the. Getting lucky with a head-butt. And in this arc he's doing absolutely nothing except intimidating a small-time crook into ruining his life by forcing him to be his CI?!? I am bored.

I am very over this run. None of the characters are true to canon and Tom King seems not to care about the timeline at all. I hate to say it, but Batman needs new writer. Disappointing. Janin's artwork is good.

I really like Joelle’s art. Someone please takeover Batman from Tom King before I have to drop my favorite character.

Joker puts a gun to Batman’s head and Batman just stops. Then Joker threatens to kill himself and not only does Batman stop again, but he kneels down next to him as asked. Has Tom King ever read a Batman comic? Has he read any DC book ever? He has no feel for the characters. Makes them act completely out of character. I did like the maniacal, homicidal Joker.

Ok. So, this is slightly better than the previous issue. I still don’t care for it. What is King trying to do? Reminisce about the “good old days” of Batman villains? Won’t Batman be a little pissed that Catwoman went for the kill? Is she “jokerized” or something? When did Joker poison Batman? Quit making Batman so inept. Quit trying to be clever and meta and write a comic Batman fans want to read.

Bwaa ha ha! Who really expected anything different? King wants to be sooo cool. I hate Tom King’s run on this series. I’m done w/ it. Thank goodness for Detective Comics.

Best Batman book I since Snyder.

The art is phenomenal! I'm interested to see what this big plan is. We continue to see the emotional toll that Selina has taken from recent events. Doesn't explain why she did what she did, but that's not really for Jones to do. So far I'm enjoying this book.

Starts off action packed. Looking forward to more plot development as the story continues.

All in all, a solid issue. It’s a little out there for a Daredevil comic. I prefer my Daredevil gritty and mired in reality, but I still thought it was pretty good. Personally, I really like the art.

I didn’t think it was too bad. Definitely shocking and sad. I’ll see where it goes.

No! Lockjaw?!? Now Black Bolt?!? I just started liking Black Bolt after Ahmed’s series.

This is the best series out there between the big two right now!

I’m ranking this a little lower because the plot is a bit worn out and overused. Overall, I liked this issue. Batman is looking competent and telling the Justice League to stay out of his business. He’s bringing Black Lightning aboard which I like because he’s not a child. We’ll see, but I have high hopes for this run.

I didn’t think I’d like Black Lightning coming into the picture, but it works for the context. Seems like maybe setting up an Outsiders deal. I’m not sold on the villain. What exactly are his powers? Do they all come from the mask? Why does he care who Batman hangs out with? Hopefully answers are coming. Also, I wouldn’t mind Batman getting back to going solo. It is outrageous that he has a bunch of kids fighting with him.

Putting the detective back in Detective Comics. I thoroughly enjoyed this issue. I hope it continues to build.

Again with the no magic. Really hope that doesn’t last long.

This was pretty good. I still don’t care that Strange is once again without magic so quickly after regaining it, but the story is good. I like that a nefarious plot seems to be unfolding at the very end.

Easily entertaining read.

Wally behaves recklessly and quite naively also. He was pretty easily tricked into this, but I suppose having flashbacks of forgotten memories might screw me up also. I’m interested to see how these new Zoom powers play out.

Great artwork for a Flash battle. I didn’t care for the extra “forces”, but overall this was a great comic.

I don’t think Tom King likes Batman very much. He makes him pretty incompetent a lot. He also seems to not give a damn about any kind of continuity. Besides that, I don’t hate this story. It has potential. I like Clay Mann’s artwork.

I am really enjoying this series. I love the artwork and I can’t wait to see where this is going. We’re still in the world building stage. I wish it was moving a little faster, but I get it. I’m hooked.

This is getting good!

Welcome back anti-hero. It’s been too long. I like Jason Todd. I like his story. Someone who has gone through what he has would probably have no compunctions with killing. I hope he kills a lot of bad guys. Maybe even some bigger names. Artemis and he should be able to do some real damage.

Normally I make fun of how quickly dead characters are resurrected, but I admit to being a little disappointed that wasn’t Natasha Romanov at the end of this comic. I miss her.

This comic is sucking me in. I love the artwork.

I am loving this!

I’m enjoying this new series. The artwork was excellent for this mainly action sequence. Sometimes I like just a good action comic. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Talia get get stabbed in the heart. I know she’s not really dead or won’t be for long, but she’s not a favorite character of mine. All in all, I like this new series. I hope it sticks around.

Not the dog! Damn! That hurt. Still I’m interested to see what’s going to happen now.
