The fallout of the previous issue is really felt in this one. The way the dark colors and dark shadows reflect the powerful emotions surging within Emmy is beautifully done by Crook. Issue #26 is a very wonderfully macabre and intense issue, and it doesn't look like the storm is close to lifting at all - it's just beginning. The shocking cliffhanger with Bernice coming face to face with Emmy's evil doppelganger, makes me anxiously wait for the arrival of issue #27. November can't come fast enough.

A phenomenal issue, it was everything I thought it would be and more. We got an insane witch fight full of very disturbing but nonetheless beautiful imagery. We also got some surprising twists and revelations, and a creepy reappearance from an old villain. I cannot wait to see what Emmy does next issue.
