Enjoyable enough, even if we don't get much movement on the main arc here and the focus feels a bit all over the place in terms of the flashback, the suddenly resolved (at least for now) storyline, and the inner battle within Banner's mind. Read Full Review

This is a sneak Spider-Man miniseries, and Greg Land isn't drawing it, so I can't complain. Hulk does get more focus here, and probably will continue to in the miniseries' latter half, but that works just as well as the Spidey stuff. It is Peter David, after all.

Another strong issue, though this continues to be more of a Spidey story than a Hulk story. Which is not a bad thing. We all know PAD is one of the three or four best Hulk writers, but do we underestimate him on Spidey?

Sadly, we might not be seeing many more PAD comics due to his health. But if this is where we stop for now, it's not a bad coda.

The story moves very slowly. Almost nothing happened here for the story. And it was more, than month of waiting... But yeah, it's still has many cool moments. I just wish it could last longer. I literally read it in a few minutes and I'm the one who reads comics patiently...

Although the big-picture pace remains problematic, this issue is a definite uptick from the last one. The scenes are tighter and more fully formed, there's some nice wit and insight in the dialogue, and the art remains clear and clean with a distinct retro flavor.

I still wish things were happening a bit faster, though.
