Comic Bastards - Austin Lanari Jun 17, 2015

As forOutlier, which is seeing a fresh serialization, I have not been previously exposed to the series but now have a desire to go back and catch up. The first chapter has me hooked in already, which puts the Progs on an unusual streak of fantastic first chapters. All-in-all I have the unexciting but very cool opportunity to continue insisting that this anthology is a must-buy for anybody who enjoys sci-fi comics. Read Full Review

Flickering Myth - Oli Davis Jun 17, 2015

Helium is the Scrotnig Story of the Week again. I'm pretty confident it will be for each week of its run. Ian Edginton and D'Israeli have created a wholly absorbing world, a mixture of steampunk, Wild West, science fiction and horror. Read Full Review

-- JUDGE DREDD // BLOOD OF EMERALOS: Slow this week. -- ABSALOM // UNDER A FALSE FLAG: Haven't gotten into this yet, not sure what it is setting up. -- SLÁINE // PRIMORDIAL: Cool visuals, but I'm not privy to who this guy is that Slaine talks to -- OUTLIER // DARK SYMMETRIES: I barely remember anything about the first Outlier strip, so I'm not sure this warrants a sequel. -- HELIUM // PART TWO: Reminds me a lot of Brass Sun, probably because it is the same writer and the artwork is similar. I loved Brass Sun, so let's hope this one is good too. The creepy poison gas people are a good start. -- OVERALL: Pretty lackluster issue actually, Helium is the only one I'm excited to continue with.
