You Don't Read Comics - Andrew Magazzu Jan 22, 2018

And what a sundae this issue is! To sum up the failings of early issues from this series would be to call them admirable but flawed nostalgic retreads more concerned with being perceived as a mature retelling rather than cover anything mature. But newer issues like #23 completely work out these growing pains, improving the series as a whole! It is a fun action packed joy of a comic that embraces the wacky colorful universe, with incredibly deep themes and subtext that broaden the scope of the franchise, and make for a stand out installment in the serialized adventures of the heroes. This is a highly recommended and explosive entry of the series that blasts in the 25th Anniversary of the Morphinominal Rangers. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Jan 17, 2018

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #23 shakes things up in a big way. Rita is cooking up some plot on her own, and Grace has unfortunately created her own problems by trying to working with the Rangers. No matter who the Rangers deal with first, they are going to have their hands full. I enjoy that this story and these plots are taking their time to unfold. Everything matters leading up to that next big problem. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Michael Adams Jan 17, 2018

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #23 is a textbook example of how a single issue comic should be written. Higgins clearly has a larger story in mind but has written it for someone who is new to the party. We get to see why the Rangers are special together and apart. We get to see why the monsters Rita creates can be memorable. There are new characters introduced that I would love to get to know more about. We get to see why the Power Rangers matter. Shoot The Breeze Comics - Patrick Rahall Jan 26, 2018

I thought this had some good political satire with the visual representation of how conspiracy theories and misinformation comes about by people becoming influenced by whoever is shouting the loudest. I really enjoy Kyle Higgins' writing style and this has been a really fun storyline. I'm excited to see how this plays out. Read Full Review

    IGN - Kat Calamia Jan 18, 2018

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #23 embraces the franchise's classic tone with its "villain of the week", but doesn't progress the plot enough to build the necessary tension for "Shattered Grid." Read Full Review
