The penultimate issue in this series is a spectacular one. The only thing you can expect with the Lobster is the unexpected, and you get it in this series! Highest possible recommendation. Read Full Review

Horror Talk - James Ferguson Jun 5, 2014

Lobster Johnson continues to jump to the top of my pull list every month.  It's a solid pulp hero book with a touch of the supernatural (although that aspect is not as pronounced in Get the Lobster!).  I'd also legitimately kill a man to see a team up between Lobster Johnson and Francesco Francavilla's Black Beetle.  Seriously, Dark Horse, what do we have to do to make this happen? Unleash The Fanboy - Harrison Rawdin Jun 4, 2014

Lobster Johnson: Get the Lobster #4 raises the stakes while offering some memorable moments. There are a lot of pieces at play but this one's brought to life with a sturdy team at its back and for that reason this easily comes recommended. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Joey Caswell Jun 4, 2014

Its kind of a given that anything from the Mignolaverse is going to be excellent, but the latest Lobster Johnson miniseries has really started to branch out into some interesting directions for this character. While issue #4 was a little lighter on overall plot development, there was a lot to enjoy about this book. This was another exciting addition that flowed perfectly, and had some great surprises and plenty of action. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Brian Salvatore and David Harper Jun 4, 2014

Either way, it's a really, really solid issue that is starting to feel the weight of the length of this mini, for better or worse. I'll give it a 7.0, mostly for the art, as Tonci is an absolute genius. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Nick Philpott Jun 4, 2014

I'm enjoying this series, but I feel like I wouldn't miss it if it were gone. It's capably done on all levels, but it still feels like an extra book; a side project in the Mignola universe, cashing in on at least two other successful books in that same universe. It's not quite nailing the pulp, hard-boiled crime genre, but it's at least having fun making the effort. Read Full Review
