    AIPT - Jordan Richards Aug 20, 2014

Batwoman #34 brings this small arc to a close on a rather tragic note that everyone has had in the back of their minds for a while. It does have good parts to it and the big surprise at the end is interesting and leaves you wondering what'll happen next. After this issue, many things have changed and whether or not that'll be good for the future of this title, is up to us to find out in future issues. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Kate Coenen Aug 23, 2014

Overall, although this issue risks upsetting fans with the direction the story takes, the story benefits by evolving in interesting ways. Kate Kane faces immense obstacles in her path"her self-sabotage of her relationship with Maggie and the escalated threat posed by Nocturna"and when Batwoman overcomes these obstacles patient readers should see payoff. In the soap-operatic nature of comics, new developments are always around the corner, and I can't wait to see how Batwoman digs herself out of this hole. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Aug 20, 2014

I have been dreading this moment since it became obvious it would happen.  Kate and Maggie's relationship was my favorite part of this book and now it's over.  It makes sense, but that doesn't make it any easier.  However, I'm more upset by the way this issue ended and the direction the book appears to be headed.  I guess we have to wait until October to see for sure, but I'm certainly worried about one of my favorite books. Infinite Comix - Rob Kitchen Aug 25, 2014

Batwoman #34 is an issue that will be loved by some and hated by others. Despite this, from a technical standpoint, it's a solid issue that continues Andreyko's stellar character development of Kate Kane while establishing a new status quo. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Joshua McDonald Aug 21, 2014

Overall: While there were things that will definitely impact and change this book, I wouldn't consider any of it Earth shattering, at least not yet. And that's the key. There's a lot of potential stories that are set up in this issue, but at the moment, it's just that: potential. In my opinion, Andreyko crafts decent stories, but his characters and execution never quite do it for me. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Doug Zawisza Aug 22, 2014

This won't be remembered as the greatest Batwoman comic ever, but it isn't the worst either. It defines Kate Kane as a wandering soul, with personal and larger challenges ahead of her. "Batwoman" #34 sets the stage for whatever follows the "Futures End" story coming up next month. Here's hoping there is a little more artistic stability and a solid sense of purpose for Batwoman in the near future as Andreyko seeds the stories in Kate Kane's world. Read Full Review

If you love BATWOMAN and her relationship, DONT read this issue. This is the end of a very long saga and will only leave a void that you wont be able to fill. If you do chose the ending however, make sure you have plenty of tissues and a decent chocolate bar because youre going to need it. Read Full Review
