    I don't even feel like delving into the rest of the issue. It'll only make you depressed, particularly if you're a Flash fan. Or a Superman fan. Or a Fourth World fan. Heck, if you like good stories in general you'll more than likely find this series increasingly offensive. With Grant Morrison recently stating in no uncertain terms that Final Crisis can be read and enjoyed with no Countdown experience, I see little reason to keep trudging through it every week.     Countdown continues to be a massive disappointment. Compared to the phenomenal 52, Countdown is pure garbage and a waste of paper. It is obvious that Dini only had enough material for maybe 25 to 30 issues max and has been forced to stretch the story over the span of 52 issues. Read Full Review
