Comic Book Corps - Tom Zimm Dec 20, 2017

This story is a must read for DC fans. It connects with story lines that are currently in development in Detective Comics and Superman. In addition, the story advances the ongoing relationship dynamics between Damian and Jonathan, and, Damian and the Teen Titans. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Mikkel Snyder Dec 20, 2017

As the action continues rising, it's become apparent this is a very ambitious story. The final page of the issue adds an entirely new foil to the already packed story, welding together multiple arcs from multiple titles. It's a little darker, it's a little denser, but it's fascinating nonetheless. Read Full Review

Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles Dec 20, 2017

While this installment isn't as consistently strong as the first part, this a smooth transition to chapter 2. This issue also ends on a great note with a very interesting cliffhanger sure to please and excite longtime DC fans. Super Sons of Tomorrow resumes next week in Teen Titans #15. Initially, I wasn't excited about this arc, but Gleason and Tomasi are making this a very compelling and surprise-heavy crossover. Read Full Review

Reusing a villain we just met a month ago probably wasn't the best idea for this four-part crossover series, but the characters that will be joining the roster make the repeat villain necessary and surprising. The collaboration from Tomasi and Gleason are creating an entire world for our younger heroes, and even with such a large group of characters, the ambiance is thrilling while also fun. The fact alone that the Titans of tomorrow will be returning is enough to sell any DC or titans fan on this story. Read Full Review

A second fantastic installment of an event I wasn't expecting as far as quality. I thought this was a simple story arc but after two issues, it's quite clear it's so much more than that. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Dec 20, 2017

Super Sons #11 took a creative approach with the next plot for these kids. They could be doing a lot of things, but the bar keeps raising for them dealing with extraordinary situations. This thing with the Batman of Tomorrow was a long time coming and I'm glad this nook was the one they chose to finally get around to him. Read Full Review

Despite this, this chapter keeps up the momentum started in the first chapter. This crossover so far is one of my favourite comic storylines of the year. Hopefully, the remaining chapters will maintain the same level of quality. Read Full Review

Super Sons #11 did a fantastic job following up on the start of the "Super Sons of Tomorrow" with an even better issue. This chapter will especially have fans of Geoff Johns' Teen Titans-era a big smile as we saw the return of the Titans of Tomorrow. That development along with the actions the Future Tim Drake takes against the Teen Titans and Superboy make this "Super Sons of Tomorrow" story a crossover that should not be missed by DC Comics fans. This was a better part for this arc. We learn what Tim wants to avoid. We get some Jon/Damian aggravation. We got the Breathtaker. And we got Cassie, Conner, and Bart. If only Tim didn't seem too powerful and efficient. Read Full Review

The fights continue in this second part to the Super Sons of Tomorrow arc, but thankfully so does the intrigue.  I just really wish that this story would start throwing some answers our way instead of just making more questions.  The art in this issue is really decent and I'm still really on board with this story, but right now a lot of aspects are leaving me scratching my head. More an issue of Teen Titans than Super Sons. That's not inherently a bad thing, as the proceedings were enjoyable en0ugh and the final page reveal was a genuine surprise. Still, I'm not entirely feeling this crossover so far, and in a single day of releases it's already halfway over. A moderately snappy script from the always reliable team of Tomasi and Gleason helps, as do some fairly attractive visuals. The ideas are there for a compelling narrative, but “Super Sons of Tomorrow” has yet to realize its potential. Read Full Review

I dislike when a story jumps from title to title. It forces readers to buy news books with the bait that they might like what is happening in a book that they don't read. Unfortunately what usually happens is that they get a story that fits one title best and leaves all the others hanging. Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Jessica Nilo Alves Dec 22, 2017

After a too long build up, what Super Sons of Tomorrow delivers is not what is in its name, bringing instead another team to the forefront. While Jonathan Kent – here the protagonist – is, as usual, well portrayed, the antagonist's tale is not built well enough for him to escape the stereotype of a monologue-loving villain. So the second part of the story with Future Tim agains this time the titans.
I have stop the teen titans at the start. But like I tell I leave Super Sons at issue 9. So I see them in it.
There character didn't evaluated much. The part about Superboy falling on Starfire his way easy (Oh a fall one a beautiful alien, poor him). I didn't understand the titans was reluctant to have him in, the last time that's them who ask Damian to having him in.
And I didn't understand the new future of Tim. Last time Batwoman was the enemy & that stick with the before Flashpoint era.
This time the bad seed is Jon ... But Jon appear in Convergence. So outside time.
I don't like the new future with jon in it, that didn't make sense wit more

There's a lot to dislike about this issue. Future Tim's motivations don't make the most sense. How is he so certain that the future where Jon destroys everything isn't just an alternate future and not THE future? I figured once he's aware of alternate timelines that he'd be more hesitant than he is. Plus, the crossover itself just isn't that exciting to me.

coming into this comic i feel as though i missed something vital to the story as it focuses on the teen titans (which i am currently not reading) and an alternate version of a well known DC character that i’d not seen this version of before).

my fear from the beginning of this series was that it was eventually going to fall into the pit trap of all popular mainstream comics . . . . . . the dreaded CROSSOVER!!!

well it’s finally happened. and i can’t say that i’ve been enjoying this series enough to not consider dropping it from my pull-list completely.

it’s really a shame because while the series had started out really good, it has dropped in quality both in the art as well as keepi more
