    The only problem with 710, is that the story does not advance the plot at all. How many heroes need to come and console, psychoanalyze, and politely stick it to Superman? Since this storyline isn't over, until issue 712, I would hazard a guess for at least two more. Read Full Review

    As entertaining as it is to watch Roberson reshape "Grounded" into a more interesting story, it is a reminder that on some level he's still stuck to some parts of J. Michael Straczynski's basic outline. We've had enough of Roberson now, though, to make me think that (even with this not being his best issue) Roberson would be an excellent full time writer on the book once "Grounded" is over. The worst Roberson/Straczynski issue is still better than the best Straczynski solo script, after all. That's a good sign. Hopefully, DC editorial agrees. Read Full Review

    It's disappointing that the majority of Superman #710 is so mundane. While the final few pages end the book on a positive note, when you think back on the entire issue, you realize that over half of the issue's pages were wasted on an uninspired recounting of an early adventure between Clark and Bruce.
