Barbarella/Dejah Thoris #1 is a smart and fun book that is an easy start for any readers who might be new to the characters. Additionally, I think older fans will also have a kick out of it. If you enjoy smart ladies and daring adventures, I highly recommend picking this one up. Read Full Review

I enjoyed a good Dejah Thoris story and I'm still riding the high of the recent Barbarella series. I really lamented seeing that go but I'm also nearly instantly in love with Williams and Garcia's interpretation of her. The story is the most basic of setups at the moment as it's all about bringing them together without explaining the larger mystery and that's fine. Both of their worlds and lives feel fully realized in this form for what we need to know about them and their first interactions together highlight their core personality traits even more. Garcia's artwork is definitely strong here and I'm excited to see more of how the characters are going to be brought to life and the worlds that they inhabit. Read Full Review

ven though it is quite a departure from the normal fare Space and Fantasy Science Fiction filled with male-dominated characters that are super manly men. Let's be honest not all mash-ups work, but the pairing works well here, and I look forward to picking up issue #2. Read Full Review

Better than I expected. For now it's difficult to see where all this will lead. But I like the murder case & love how both characters interact together.

Cover - Not really related but Good 1.5/2
Writing - I reading it with a smile all the way around. 3/3
Arts - Very nice, something kinda comic but sexy. I'm surprise that Barbarella in suit is more sexy than Dejah ^^ 2.5/3
Feeling - I will have to go hunting the following issues ! 2/2
