Turok is rapidly becoming one of the books I look forward to most every month. I love the way Pak and Colak are turning the concept of Dinosaur Hunter on its head, I love the frantic artwork, I love the writing. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - CJ Yudelson Mar 5, 2014

Dynamite Entertainment follows up its debut of a new series with another really fine comic. The last page of this issue also put a huge smile across my face in anticipation of just seeing more of something so awesome it has to be seen. Turok #2 shows that Pak and the rest of the creative team have a strong grasp on the storytelling that so far, has made this a fun and interesting book. Also; Dinosaurs. Read Full Review

Comic Spectrum - Gilad Levin Mar 5, 2014

But, as much as I loved this issue, I couldn't buy into the relationship between Turok and Andar. I know Turok saved Andar's life, but his transformation from being Turok's mortal enemy to best friend was rushed and unexplained. Nothing about the relationship worked for me and sadly, it was a big part of the story, which kept me from rating this issue higher. However, for me, this was a big improvement over the last issue; the story kept me interested, the characters are special, and the villain is menacing. Read Full Review

Following The Nerd - Jake Tanner Mar 8, 2014

This is definitely something you should be reading. Greg Pak is a guy that's gotten a lot of critical acclamation lately and for very good reason. While Turok isn't a name that carries the same wait as Superman or Batman, Pak has turned him into a force to be reckoned with. This series may not be for everyone, and it's not perfect, but I can promise you that if you give this team an issue or two more to really hit their stride, this is going to be a book that you'll wish you had been reading all along; it's that special. I absolutely love it and can't wait until next month so I can dig into more of Turok's adventure! Read Full Review

Entertainment Fuse - Andrew Ziegler Mar 4, 2014

Like I said, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter #2 is paced very quickly, and that is certainly not a bad thing. At this juncture, the story remains riveting. Will the colonists continue to be the primary antagonists, or will their dino-pets become too difficult to control? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a dinosaur mutiny, but this book has already proven to be unpredictable. I'm just hoping that the title of the book delivers on its promise, which is that Turok will become what he's destined to be: a "dinosaur hunter." Read Full Review

Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell Mar 5, 2014

After an explosive first issue, the second installment starts to play the human drama out a little more as we see Turok conflicted as to what he should do regarding the Crusaders taking over the tribe that abandoned him. The slight change in pace and the art changes do effect things ever so slightly. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Jeremy Matcho Mar 3, 2014

With the second issue in the books, Turok Dinosaur Hunter has gained some steam heading into its third issue. Greg Pak is a good writer with a knack for fan favorite stories, so he's most likely got big plans for this title. Colak has all the talent in the world and is a good artist, but this book is missing the money shot. As the series progresses and everyone gets comfortable, this title has all the ingredients to be one of Dynamite's better books. Read Full Review
