But Why Tho? - William Tucker Jul 31, 2020

Canto II: The Hollow Men #1 is a lovely fantasy comic that takes inspiration from the Wizard of Ozs heartless Tin-Man and creates its own world filled with unique characters. The art is so amazing to look at, with designs that look new and original. The story has a powerful identity and depth. The cuteness of the design can easily lead to misconceptions about the emotional power the story has. But there are themes starting to emerge that really resonated with me as I read. Cantos anxiety makes him a really effective main character and his tale should really be one of legend. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Aug 19, 2020

Canto II: The Hollow Men #1 has all the bones of a soon-to-be classic fantasy tale built on an already established and interesting world. It's likely to be a treat for young ones, but adults like me can see the joy in its adventure as well. Not unlike The Fellowship of the Ring, bonds are shown here that'll matter largely going forward and a journey is in the works that'll likely ring very true. Read Full Review

Wow, what a extraordinary first issue to the sequel of this amazing series. Canto has been one of thee best fantasy comics of the present, and this issue displays why. If you loved the first arc. than you will become with this one. First off, the art by Zucker and colors by Astone is eloquent, magical, and sensational all at the same time. Fantasy demands unique and imaginative art, and Canto pass the test with flying colors. I have said this in past reviews, but how use of light vs. pastel colors and design by Astone and Zucker is the highlight of their artistry and style. Its what makes Canto such an immersive experience to read and look at.

But great art can only be matched by the great story we have from Booher. Canto at f more
