A pleasantly focused conclusion to what has been a solid, enjoyable arc, then. And, in spite of the Pantheons involvement, this has felt like a far more grounded, far more Turtle-focused chapter of this ongoing saga, and a welcome departure from the silly, spacefaring shenanigans of recent months (Hakk-R notwithstanding). More of this, please! And more Dave Watcher, while youre at it. Read Full Review

TMNT #84 is a solid conclusion to this story arc. It was not the best issue or story arc of TMNT, but not bad either. What is set up through this issue is a lot more interesting than the issue itself. The art, again, looks great except for my personal nitpicks about the Turtles themselves. TMNT continues to be one of the best ongoing series out on the shelves today and I am excited to see what the team is building up to with issue #100 on the horizon. Read Full Review

Sneaky Rat King's get away....again. while I love the character I feel he is a bit redundant. Leo in the Astral Plane was dope as well as the Mousers eating away at the rats. Cool ending to a lackluster arc.

    entertaining though anti-climatic.
i'm not saying this was a bad issue, it's just that this series never really gets my blood going.
there are never really and "WOW" or 'HELL YEAH" moments.
the story just trudges along slow and steady like a little turtle.

i am happy that the main focus is on the ninja turtles finally.
the turtles do have some cool moments and and decent dialog.

i was also happy to see Leonardo actually get to use his spiritual Astral Plane abilities.
that was actually very cool now that i think about it.
Leonardo in the Astral plane with glowing eyes and glowing swords. pretty cool.
i just think the art could have been a bit more dynamic to sell it better.
