    But Why Tho? - Gonzalo M May 14, 2021

Geiger #2 delivers even more than the previous issue. The kingdom of Las Vegas isnt as glamourous as it seems, and the king is slowly readying to wage war on The Meltdown Man. In addition, we are meeting more key characters while also being kept in the dark about Tariq. Read Full Review

The Comicbook Dispatch - ozwoods May 12, 2021

Geiger #2 takes its time to tell a more grounded story to show some of the people's lives in its post-apocalyptic world. However, it feels like it should've come after some more development with the titular main character. That said, the art and colors are great, and the story and dialogue is well-written. Hopefully, there's some payoff to this story in the next issue. Read Full Review

    COMICON - Brendan M. Allen May 17, 2021

Still a great concept, with a ton of potential, but I just can't get into it. Things fall together just a little too neatly for a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Spencer Perry May 12, 2021

Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's new series makes a slightly better case for the humanity at the heart of its story but once again feels like a work derivative of post-apocalyptic, even Las Vegas-set, stories. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff May 12, 2021

It kind of feels like Johns was trying to fuse too much into the world of the series. The fact that this is becoming apparent only two issues in suggests that he might have done well scale it back considerably. The title character is fun. The children he runs into at chapters end are appealingly human and emotionally engaging. Everything that happens in Vegas, this issue...really should have just stayed in Vegas. The title character is interesting enough. He doesnt need the silly potential antagonist of...the king of Las Vegas. Its just goofy.  Read Full Review
