It's rare thing to see a turnaround of a series like this, so much so it makes me want to go back and make sure I wasn't missing something that first go around. This is a popcorn movie in comic form. Read Full Review

Blue Raven Comics - Garry Robertson Oct 5, 2012

Issue #2 carries on this very entertaining story, which is a great mix of characters, all with their own individual skills that form a formidable team, when put together. A good bit of humor in the mix, too, making it a pleasant read. Nice functional artwork helps, too, with some really top-notch frames added to show the quality of Todd Nauck and John Rauch. A well-deserved 8/10 again. Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Brandon Dingess Oct 12, 2012

I went into this book with two major questions: What sets this apart from "Invincible" and will that be enough to make me buy it in addition to "Invincible"? After two issues I still haven't made a decision and, fortunately for Image/Skybound and unfortunately for my wallet I'll likely need another issue or two to make up my mind. "Guardians of the Globe" has potential and aI hope it lives up to it. Read Full Review

This is a nice alternative to comic books you might be reading out of habit rather than enjoyment. If you've been let down by new universes or updates, then give "Guarding the Globe" a look. It's fun, straight-forward, unapologetic comic book fun with just the right amount of melodrama. Read Full Review

    Geekality - Josh Pierce Oct 10, 2012

It's issue 2 and I already want to say I don't care. Issue 1 had some promise, but reading issue 2 and one thing is certain, while there is some direction, the overall story seems to be lacking. Instead of writing one great story that could bring these characters together and make peopel read this book over JLA, Avengers, or X-Men we are instead given tons of different things going on at once. Effectively it's over kill, too much in 22 pages made me care less and less as more and more storyline's were added. Read Full Review
